- Making a color wheel to understand primary, secondary and tertiary color.
- Making a saturation continuum to learn about mixing neutrals and grays from complementary pairs.
- Looking at famous works of art to learn about how the artists you love use color.
- Monotype basics for applying the color theory to your image making.
The course includes demonstrations, discussion of artworks, assignments, inspirational slideshow and downloadable pdfs. It’s like being in a workshop in our studio! Joyce demonstrates using Akua Intaglio Inks, but you can use any ink or paint you have. No press needed.
